St Lucia Death Tour!!!

"Im frigging nuts man"

So yesterday we went ziplineing through the rain forest. The tour began when we met our tour guide "George of the jungle". George was a crazy fellow who happened to have a preoccupation with death. Whilst on our journey to go swinging from trees, he felt it necessary to discuss all of the many ways to die in St Lucia. Snakes, spiders, hurricanes, and farmers with machetes. Apparently we were on a highway straight to hell. He did point out were we would go to the hospital, which we probably wouldn't survive, because the equipment is "not so good". To our right was the cemetery where everyone who dies gets a good view of the ocean, they apparently are not too big on cremation, however George doesn't really care what happens to him after he dies. We learned quite a bit from George, including how the catch a snake by "talking shit to it" (of which I have video proof).

I digress. Ziplining was freaking awesome. I did manage to catch some sweet videos of us gliding from tree to tree. Unfortunately it will have to wait until we get back because of the connection. Tiff turned out to be quite the expert flying in a straight line every time. I however started spinning around every time like a wild man. It wasn't scary at all, just a lot of fun. The rainforest was really beautiful from that height.

We got home and showered, then went back to the Regency for dinner at their Asian themed restaurant. It was ok, it was a decent teppanyaki style place and somewhat entertaining though the chef's only catch phrase was "niccce... ricccce". Then we came back to the hotel and met some new friends in the English style pub in the lobby. After several rounds of shots we closed that bar down at 2.

This morning we slept til 11 and went to have a couples massage. It was our 6 years of dating anniversary so we kept it pretty mellow by hanging out at the pool. Tonight we are staying at our own resort for once and eating at the Italian restaurant. It is supposed to be delicious so we are excited for that!

Tomorrow should be another chill day doing watersports and hanging out by the pool drinking dirty bananas
